A meeting of the Supervisory College for KDPW_CCP was held this week on the premises of the UKNF. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Market Surveillance and Infrastructure Department of the UKNF, European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), Narodowy Bank Polski (National Bank of Poland, NBP), European Central Bank (ECB), and supervisory authorities from France and the Netherlands. The meeting of the Supervisory College for KDPW_CCP was the first meeting organised by ESMA and the KNF acting as co chairs under the amended EMIR framework. The meeting was opened by Dariusz Adamski, Deputy Chair of the KNF, responsible for the work of the UKNF’s Capital Market Supervision Division. The current situation of KDPW_CCP and perspectives for the future were discussed at the meeting. The second part of the meeting was attended also by representatives of KDPW_CCP.
