Transfers of open pension funds' members
Since the transfer session in May 2021, the data on the number of open pension fund (OFE) members and the values of transfer payments have been presented in a publication ‘Quarterly Bulletin. Occupational pension funds’, which is available on the KNF website in the statistical data section for the pension market by the end of the second month following the end of the quarter.
Transfer payments between OFEs take place four times a year: in the last working week of February, May, August and November, and the amount of the transfer payment is determined on the fifth working day preceding the date of the payment.
The data on the number of members changing OFE are published in the last week of the month of the transfer session, based on the transfer list prepared by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).
The settlement of transfer payments between OFEs is done by the National Depository for Securities.
