Jacek Jastrzębski, Chair of the KNF, was a keynote speaker during the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of Polish Bank Association Representation Office in Brussels. The event was held under the theme ‘20 Years of Growth and Resilience: The Polish Banking Success Story in the EU’, organised in cooperation with the Polish Presidency in the EU Council, with BLIK as a partner. The celebrations were an occasion to emphasise the role of cooperation at the level of Central Europe over more than 20 years of Poland’s membership of the European Union, with a particular focus on the contribution of the Polish banking sector to the development of the European economy and the strategic autonomy of the EU.
