Piotr Koziński, Managing Director of the Capital Market Supervision Division of the UKNF, took part in a discussion on ESG engagement. The discussion took place as part of the CFA Society Poland Annual Conference.

Piotr Koziński addressed the topic of whether ESG could create corporate values. 

‘The implementation of an ESG strategy can improve the company’s image. Firms that show engagement on ESG issues may be better perceived by employees, which translates into lower staff turnover and more engaged teams.

Organisations with high-quality ESG performance  can improve corporate value, provided both the companies and the funds share a common goal. This means that compliance with law should go hand in hand with corporate value creation’, Piotr Koziński said.
