The Steering Committee of the National Working Group on Benchmark Reform (NWG Steering Committee) informs about the completion of an additional round of collecting opinions as part of public consultations, which started on 4 October 2024, which are part of the ongoing process of reviewing and analysing alternative indices to WIBOR type RFR1.
As part of the additional round of consultations, 19 responses were sent from entities representing: banks, mortgage banks, leasing companies, factoring companies and investment funds. The overall results of the public consultations will be taken into account in the decision on the selection of an index/benchmark alternative to WIBOR and the development of an updated Roadmap for the reform of benchmark in Poland.
